Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Dugout Ready website, application, and related services (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
1. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding agreement to create an account. The Service is intended for adult coaches, team organizers, and parents or guardians, not for children to use directly. You are responsible for accurate account information, protecting your credentials, and all activity under your account.
2. Team and player information
You represent that you have the authority to enter and manage the team, roster, player, and game information you submit. Enter only the information reasonably needed to use the Service. You are responsible for obtaining any permissions required by your organization or applicable law, especially for information concerning minors.
3. Lineups and AI-assisted output
The Service is not medical, legal, safety, or professional sports advice. Do not rely on it for injury decisions or emergency situations.
4. Acceptable use
You may not:
- Use the Service unlawfully, fraudulently, or to harm another person.
- Access another user’s account, team, or data without authorization.
- Probe, bypass, or interfere with authentication, rate limits, security controls, or service operation.
- Upload malicious code or use automated access that imposes an unreasonable load.
- Submit content you do not have the right to use or that violates another person’s rights.
- Reverse engineer or copy the Service except where applicable law expressly permits it.
5. Beta and service availability
Some or all features may be offered as a beta, preview, or test service. Features may change, fail, or be withdrawn. We may perform maintenance, impose usage limits, or suspend access to protect the Service. We do not promise uninterrupted availability or that stored information will never be lost. Keep any records you cannot afford to lose outside the Service.
6. Paid features
If paid features are enabled, prices and billing terms shown at purchase apply. Payments may be processed by Stripe or another identified provider. Unless the purchase terms say otherwise, fees are non-refundable to the extent permitted by law. You may cancel through available account or billing controls, and access may continue through the paid period shown in your account.
7. Your content
You retain ownership of information and content you submit. You grant Dugout Ready a limited license to host, process, reproduce, and transmit that content only as needed to provide, secure, maintain, and improve the Service and comply with law. You are responsible for your content and for maintaining any backup you need.
8. Dugout Ready materials
The Service, software, design, trademarks, and other Dugout Ready materials are owned by Dugout Ready or its licensors and are protected by applicable law. These Terms provide a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the Service for its intended purpose. They do not transfer ownership of the Service.
9. Third-party services
The Service may depend on or link to third-party services, including hosting, email, payment, and AI providers. We are not responsible for third-party services, and their separate terms and privacy policies may apply.
10. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service or request account deletion. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk for users or the Service, fail to pay applicable fees, or if operation becomes impractical or unlawful. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
11. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” Dugout Ready disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so portions of this section may not apply to you.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dugout Ready and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost goodwill, or service interruption arising from the Service. To the fullest extent permitted by law, total liability for claims relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid for the Service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or US $100 if you paid nothing. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so portions of this section may not apply to you.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms as the Service changes. We will post revised Terms with a new effective date and provide additional notice when required. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the revised Terms.
